TL summer rec adjusts to COVID-19
When working with kids, there’s only so much one can do to keep the “social distancing” intact.
All negative at TL testing
There was a pretty steady stream of cars starting at 10:30 a.m. at Thursday’s COVID-19 drive-through testing in Turtle Lake, but by noon the stream had lessened to a vehicle driving up every few minutes or so.
UHS graduation next Friday
Underwood twin brothers Mason and Kayden Hornberger are leading the Underwood Class of 2020 as they graduate Friday, June 26.
TL commission still talking trash
No motions were made, and no official action was taken Monday night at Turtle Lake’s regular monthly meeting.

Aiden Repnow and Jaxon Malnourie were enjoying some fun in the sun on a slippy slide Monday morning as they repeatedly threw themselves down the runway of the water slide.
Grads told ‘not the critic who counts’
Yes, families were seated a proper social/physical distance away from one another at Sunday’s Turtle Lake-Mercer graduation, but as the ceremony progressed and the speakers addressed those in attendance, it was obvious they were focused on their memories and their futures – not the coronavirus impacted present.
Post 133 honors fallen soldiers
Some things were a little different at the Turtle Lake American Legion Post #133’s annual Memorial Day Program, but the emotions of those in attendance were the same as they honored America’s fallen veterans.
Smalls, Goven, lead TL-M class of '20
The Turtle Lake-Mercer graduating class of 2020 will hold its commencement ceremony this Sunday at 2 p.m. in the school gymnasium, followed by a parade processional down Main St. immediately following the ceremony.
