Dollar General gets ‘ok’ from city
The Underwood City Commission put out the proverbial welcome mat for Dollar General to come to Underwood, approving the Planning and Zoning Board’s recommendation to change the zoning of Outlot “D” on the east side of Underwood from “Agriculture” to “General Commercial” at its meeting Wednesday night.
One-of-a-kind, The Hymnus Tree

As of Tuesday morning, Underwood residents were being advised that they could run drinking water out of the tap without having to boil it first, as the city continued its recovery from a complete water shut-down after a series of water main breaks starting about 2:30 Friday morning.
