Raises and reductions for school staff
Hours were cut but pay raises were “across the board,” except for the ruling board (school). The decisions came at the July annual budget meeting and the regular monthly meeting on Monday, July 14.

Horizons members will attempt to reach a good portion of the 58463-area residents for input concerning the community regarding the Horizons plan to address poverty.

“I always wanted to be a deputy for as long as I can remember,” stated Christopher Kluth, the newest member of the Sheridan County Sheriff’s Department staff.
Scary scam surfaces in Sheridan County
The following is a scam that has been sent by email to unsuspecting internet subscribers, with at least one received in the Sheridan County Area.
“I’ve been asked what I would have done differently over the years if I could,” said Roger Trautmann, retired Sheridan County blademan.
The end of August is the deadline for submission of the application that will show the plans for McClusky’s action against poverty in the community.
Local FFA member wins awards
Kristin Ripplinger, a member of McClusky FFA Chapter, was named the State FFA Floriculture Entrepreneurship/Placement Proficiency award winner and received a $200 check at the state FFA convention.
