A successful season recognized
VELVA – After a dominant 2022 season, two Garrison students were named to North Dakota’s 11B All-Region team for their contributions to the Velva-Drake/Anamoose-Garrison Aggies’ 2022 State Title.
A season ends for the Lady Troopers
Making good on their overall goal for the year, the Garrison Lady Troopers made it to the top: the Class B State Volleyball Tournament in Bismarck last week.
Aggies perfect season capped off with state win
Football season in North Dakota is officially at an end, the Velva-Drake/Anamoose-Garrison Aggies ran the table and finished their season 13-0 following their 11B State Title win over the Central Cass Squirrels last Friday in Fargo 22-20.
Garrison advances to finals
In a nail biting will-they-or-won’t-they scenario building up during the quarterfinals and semifinals of the Region 5 volleyball tournament, the Garrison Lady Troopers took both games and advanced to the tournament’s final round.
Aggies one step closer to state
At this point last year, the Velva-Drake/Anamoose-Garrison Aggies marked the end of their season, following a defeat by the Bishop Ryan Lions.
Troopers tame the Mustangs
Racking up two more wins over the past week, including an anxious 3-0 against the Surrey Mustangs Monday evening, the Garrison Lady Troopers are solidly maintaining their ranking in Region 5 gameplay.
Aggies clinch second seed and perfect season
POWERS LAKE – In their last game of the regular season, the Velva-Drake/Anamoose-Garrison Aggies traveled here to take on the Ray/Powers Lake Outlaws.
Running for a spot at state
WASHBURN – Cross Country teams from Garrison, Max-South Prairie and White Shield competed here last Saturday in the North Dakota Class B West Regional Cross Country meet in preparation for the state meet on Oct. 21 in Jamestown.
Aggies record stays perfect
VELVA – Entering their matchup Friday with a perfect 6-0 record the Aggies were eager to take the field and add another victory to their total. Matched up against an 0-6 Stanley Blue Jays team Velva-Drake/Anamoose-Garrison’s team was poised to dominate yet another matchup.
Competing at the highest level
Garrison’s own Coryssa Behles qualified for state in girls’ golf and spent Sept. 26-27 competing at the Souris Valley Golf Course along with 118 of North Dakota’s best class B girls golfers.
