200 patients, 6,400 teeth and 1 day of smiles
A event to provide dental care for those in need helped put clean and healthy smiles on more than 200 faces Saturday in Hazen.
The first Carousel of Smiles offered several dental and medical procedures. Though event leader Michael Jelsing was not sure what to expect, he said the event was a success.
“We had 50 people waiting at the door when we opened up,” he said. “Some of those got two or three dental procedures. We got booked really fast.”
