School board election deadline Friday
Wish to be on the Hazen School Board? The deadline for getting on the ballot draws nigh. The deadline for filing to have your name printed on the ballot for the Hazen School Board election is 4 p.m. Friday. The application for the position may be picked up at business manager Connie Ellwein’s office in Room 325 of the Hazen Elementary School.

Those in attendance Feb. 23 at Hazen City Hall seemed to agree on two things: the sewer line running from Hazen’s Fifth Street to the alley between Third Street and Main Street is needed; and someone needs to pay for the project.
