Time change means clocks stay the same Sunday
Daylight Saving Time ends Sunday, Nov. 7 this year, but Mercer County residents won’t have to change their clocks Saturday night. That’s because the county switches over to Central Standard Time the same day.

Many residents and businesses will make a few adjustments come Sunday as Mercer County converts to Central time. One such business making adjustments will be area post offices.

A legion of pumpkins, ghouls, and other Halloween necessities will fill Stanton’s Sakakawea City Park from 6-9 p.m. MDT Saturday, Oct. 30 for the ninth annual Pumpkins in the Park.
Hazen growth plan taking final form
If the future of Hazen matters to you, mark your calendar. An open house regarding the future of development in Hazen will be held from 5:30-7 p.m. MDT Monday, Oct. 25 at Hazen City Hall. The event will include a free meal of homemade soup and bread.
