Knife River level falling, but overtopping roads
The Knife River crested below flood level Thursday, but still managed to close a couple of roads in Mercer County. The National Weather service predicts a second higher crest over the weekend.

Mercer County 2010 census forms being distributed
Well, it’s that time of the decade again. This month, 2010 census forms – touted as 10 questions in 10 minutes – will be delivered to every residence in the United States and Puerto Rico. On the local level in Mercer County, form delivery began March 1, according to Mercer County Complete Count Committee member Cindy Johnson.
