Hazen High School gears up for 2011 Homecoming Week
It’s not every day you can come to work or visit the grocery store in your favorite sports jersey, super hero costume or pajamas. During Hazen High School’s Homecoming Week, that behavior is actually encouraged.

A person can’t make a significant impact on their community by sitting idle. Two Hazen residents almost constantly on the go are Don and Alvina Hagler--and the differences they’ve made in Hazen has earned them the honor of being named Grand Marshals of the 2011 Hazen Harvest Fest Parade.
Harvest slow to gain momentum
Harvest is the 100-meter dash of the growing season. For a few weeks every August, small-grain producers hit the fields in hurried fashion to harvest their crops while the sun shines.
