Adjustment to Central taking time
The grass is plenty green on the other side of the fence--though it is taking time for some Mercer County business and residents to fully adjust to it’s plushness.
The U.S. Department of Transportation officially moved Mercer County into the Central Time Zone in late September. The move was made after the Mercer County Commission petitioned the DOT to make the move late last year.
Some of the most significant adjustments that have been made to accomodate the change to Central time have been made in the Beulah and Hazen school systems.
