An evening worth celebrating

As the Fourth of July draws near, the Hazen Chamber of Commerce is partnering their monthly Music in the Park events with the national holiday for a celebration of our American heritage and our own community’s attractions.
Although the Fourth itself falls on Thursday, this month’s Music in the Park will be held Wednesday evening. This is both because that’s the normal evening for the performances and in order to draw out people who might not be able to come out Thursday evening because they will be traveling for the holiday or returning to work Friday morning.
In conjunction with the concert, the Chamber is sponsoring a fireworks show at dusk following the music to light up the skies with the festive and colorful lights and sounds that bring us back to both the turmoil and the glory in which our nation was founded.
