Another successful fair come and gone
Mercer County has seen another successful kickoff of high summer with mini doughnuts, music, livestock shows, rodeos and even some old fashioned ‘rassling.’ The 2010 Mercer County Fair was a success, fair board member Darold Benz said. Attendance was strong through the four-day event even with a series of rain showers Saturday afternoon that dampened spectators but not their enthusiasm. Benz said attendance numbers weren’t readily available but that he thinks attendance was up from last year.
