Benefit for Brittni Feb. 28
"Stay gold, Ponyboy. Stay gold." In "The Outsiders," a novel by S.E. Hinton, it’s Johnny’s dying wish for his friend, Ponyboy, to stay true to who he is. For Brittni Thieling of Stanton, 19, the saying, tattooed on the inside of her wrists, is an uplifting daily reminder. Its purpose is especially relevant these days as she finds herself in a battle with cancer.
