Blocked bridge opening soon
The County Road 27 bridge was open. Then it was closed. Then open. Now closed.
It will soon be open to stay, much to the relief of Hazen residents living north of the State Highway 200 bypass.
The bridge spanning Antelope Creek north of Hiway Express--which has been closed off and on for the better part of two weeks--is expected to be open to traffic by Monday, according to project engineer Clint Knutson of Ulteig Engineering. The open bridge will be welcomed news to north Hazen residents such as Doug Edwards.
