Bringing in December with festive cheer

For some people, you can’t start blaring Christmas music or hanging Christmas decorations until after Thanksgiving.
For those same people, by the time you get this paper, Thanksgiving Day will be here, and that means it’s also time to look forward to December and all the holiday cheer that comes with it.
Hazen is kicking things off shortly after the last month of 2019 begins. On Dec. 5, a walk around will be held in the community, giving festive residents and Christmas shoppers a chance to see what their local community has in store for them.
There are some differences this year from previous Hazen Walk Arounds. Instead of the passport event, Hazen Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Antoinette Heier introduced a bingo game competition.
