Celebrating the autumn season
By Daniel Arens
Autumn is approaching fast, and Hazen is preparing to welcome the season with an annual celebration featuring a lot of old attractions, and also a few new ones.
Some of these attractions may change location or end up canceled depending on inclement weather. Currently, while the next few days look good, the forecast for Saturday, when most of the festivities take place, is cool and wet, in the 50s with a strong chance of rain.
Assuming things fall in place in spite of the weather, here’s a look at some of what you can expect from the day. The Miss Mercer County Scholarship Organization will hold a cakewalk near Natural Impressions Photography, beginning at noon Saturday.
