Chance checkup saves a life
It was October 2009: Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Jamie Brousseau, 48, a receptionist at Sakakawea Medical Center, personally wasn’t going to do much of anything to commemorate the month. The Hazen hospital, however, was hosting an open house showcasing the new digital mammography machine, and some co-workers suggested that Jamie sign up for a free trial run. She relented.
