City expansion?
The city of Hazen may look to expand and buy more property, officials said Monday during a City Commission meeting.
Commissioners mentioned they would be interested in buying property that was owned by Hazen resident Glen Miller, who died earlier this year. The 55-acre plot sits along Main Street West between Ninth Avenue Northwest and Fifth Avenue Southwest. The land is outside city limits and would have to be annexed.
