City might help residents with sanitary project cost
It’s a big chunk of money for a small chunk of Hazen, and residents in that small chunk of town are hopeful that Hazen City Commission’s efforts to reduce their cost burden are successful. The city is planning to undertake a sanitary sewer replacement project this spring, which will consist of replacement of a 975-foot stretch of sewer line that runs through a utility-congested alley spanning three blocks sandwiched between Third Avenue West to the west, and Second Avenue West to the east.
