City pounds out meeting in 50 minutes
Alleys, water and Centennial discussed

A relatively short Hazen City Commission meeting brought forth alley way concerns, water payments and a thank you from the Hazen Centennial Association Monday at City Hall.
Encroachment on alleys reared its head again when Commissioner Casey Stern gave his street report. Sheds, vehicles and gardens are in the right-of-way in an alley at North Star I, he previously reported. The city sent letters to residents and asked them to move items from the alley.
“I think it has gotten worse since we sent the letters,” Stern said.
