City, suitor stuck on property taxes
What was hoped to be a match made in municipal heaven might be turning into a rocky relationship. When an interested party recently offered to buy the Stanton school building from the city of Stanton, thus ensuring heat to the Stanton Public Library’s bathroom and saving the library, the Stanton City Commission thought they had a win-win.
