Coal Conversion Counties discuss role of wind farm

All eyes are set on July 1, when a special meeting and public hearing in Stanton could set the stage for the future of wind energy production in Mercer County and the wider region.
The result of that meeting, starting at 1 p.m. at the county courthouse, will not be available at the time this paper goes to press, but its significance has already generated a lot of discussion among other boards and organizations.
