Commission rejects section line closure request
Controversy arose at the county commission over one resident’s request to have a section line road that functions as a kind of “thru-driveway” for his property closed to the public.
Curtis Sailer, who lives just east of Hazen city limits, north of the golf course, petitioned for the closure. He said his concern was over both the increase of public using the road and the speed with which the vehicles traveled past his house.
