Common Threads Quilters Guild use skills for service

Each month, a large group of people sharing a similar passion for quilting gather together.
But while all of the members of the Common Threads Quilter’s Guild certainly enjoy making quilts, for many years they have also combined their hobby with making a difference in their community.
“Making quilts for Hospice is our community project that we decided on years ago as what we were going to do,” Peggy Cahoon said. “We hope it shows our community members in hospice that they’re still a part of our community that we’re thinking about them. We want to wrap them in warmth and love.”
