Construction begins Monday on 200 near Stanton
Construction will begin on Monday, June 6 on North Dakota Highway 200, two miles north of the junction of N.D. Highway 200A, west of Stanton. The project consists of bridge deck overlay and guardrail installation.
During construction:
*Traffic will be reduced to one lane with traffic signals in place
*Speeds will be reduced to 25 mph across the bridge
*Width restriction of 10.5 feet will be in place
*Motorists may experience delays of up to 20 minutes
This project is expected to be complete by September. Rear-end crashes are the most common in work zones. Motorists are encouraged to slow down, allow extra distance between their vehicle and the vehicle in front of them, use caution, and obey flaggers and posted signs.
