County denies Asgard permits

Tensions were high in the Beulah Civic Center on Thursday, Feb. 20 as Asgard Resources was on the agenda for the Mercer County Planning and Zoning meeting.
Representatives from Asgard Resources sat in front of the board members of the county committee. The matters to approve zoning cases 541, 542, 543 and 544 had been previously tabled and were moved to be removed from the table for this meeting.
Before they discussed the information on the agenda, the board reminded community members in the audience that they would like to speak to Asgard first and have them address all their questions to them directly. They said they would open up time for community input at the end.
