County officials gather to discuss flood plans
Officials from throughout Mercer County gathered last week at the Beulah Civic Center to talk about their respective plans for fighting this year’s potential flooding. Mercer County Emergency Manager Carmen Reed began the meeting with an informational update on a recent seminar the Bismarck Weather Service coordinated, where the agency predicted a 50 percent chance of a flood this spring.
