Dance team seeks opportunities to shine
Like many other facets of school life, Hazen Highlights has found itself struggling to adjust to the “new normal” imposed by COVID-19 and the resulting restrictions.
For the group of 10 dancers, however, the challenges are even greater. Many of their primary chances to demonstrate their skills come from performances during games. With those performances not happening, and the number of competitions the Highlights team is participating in reduced from seven to three, it’s been a tough year to make adjustments.
