Determination and dedication pay off

Even from a young age, Hazen’s residents demonstrate their drive to succeed.
Like his friend Gunner Smith, Tate Sailer showed his skills on the wrestling mat. At age 9, Tate joined Gunner in successfully claiming the Triple Crown, winning state in Folkstyle, Freestyle and Greco tournaments.
Tate has been wrestling since he was 4, and just completed his sixth year in the program. His involvement has allowed him to travel to different towns and even different states, and meet new friends from many areas.
“Tate has met so many kids from all over, and that’s one thing I really like about the program,” Tate’s grandma Loree said. “Wherever he goes, they just get together and talk again.”
