Entering the new world of teaching

While he only recently entered the world of education, one Hazen teacher has a lot of experience outside the classroom to bring to his students within it.
Karl Osterman, 31, was hired this summer as a new high school math teacher. He is coming to Hazen from Crosby, where he taught junior high math for one year, and before that from Montana and South Dakota.
Prior to pursuing the field of education, Osterman, who is originally from Big Sandy, Mont. was involved in retail business. The job had him traveling a lot around the state, and into South Dakota.
