Favorable conditions make for positive spring ag. outlook
So far so good for this year’s planting and calving seasons, as warm, dry conditions have taken some of the stress off area producers’ minds.
John Weinand, who farms near Hazen, has been seeding for more than two weeks. From what he remembered, it was his earliest ever spring planting start by about a week.
