Festival of fun and significance in Riverdale

While it is a small community, Riverdale is alive and vibrant, and residents flocked together to celebrate what it has to offer.
On Saturday evening, Knights Coliseum hosted the annual Riverdale Summerfest, which was sponsored by Vital Friends of Riverdale/Pick City Ambulance. The event helps raise funds for the small Riverdale Ambulance Service, which has seen some milestone achievements over the past year.
“I think it went great,” Robin Lagunas, Riverdale Ambulance co-manager, said. “It was one of the most memorable ones, for sure.”
