Final assessments for street project approved
After a lengthy and at times contentious final hearing, the Hazen City Commission has approved the final assessment values for properties in town, following the recommendations given them by the special assessment committee.
Greg McCarthy, the chairman of that committee, told the city commissioners there were two changes made to their initial recommendation, which was incorporated into the final decision of the commission.
