Firefighters douse 2 fires near Stanton
Area fire departments were called out to two separate grass fires Monday afternoon near Stanton.
The Stanton Rural Fire Department was paged to a fire at approximately 3 p.m. Monday. The blaze ignited just east of Ervin and Iris Hintz’s residence located about five miles north of Stanton.
