From student to teacher: A Hazenite returns

By Daniel Arens
Many people have big dreams when they grow up.
Some want to travel the world.
Some want to become successful millionaires.
And some want to return and remain in their own hometown, making a world of a difference there.
Madison Leintz, a 2015 Hazen High School graduate, returned to her home town and her home school this year, marking the short transition in her life from a student to a teacher in the same town. She recently graduated with her early childhood and elementary education degrees from the University of Mary in Bismarck.
“I’ve lived in Hazen since I was born, so I attended pre-school through high school here,” Leintz said.
