Gunshots fired at RV Park

A man was arrested after firing a gun during an altercation Sunday at the Lewis and Clark RV Park in Hazen.

According to a report from the Hazen Police Department, reports of shots fired at the RV park were made just before 6 p.m. Sunday. Kelly Heck, 39, Regan, was arrested without event in connection with the shooting, and the police retrieved a loaded Glock .45-caliber pistol as well as spent .45-cal. casings found on the ground at the scene.

According to a report from the Hazen Police Department, several employees of Westcon – a construction company contracted by Antelope Valley Station – were having a barbecue in the RV park’s hospitality building Sunday evening. Heck, not an employee of Westcon, arrived at the barbecue and questioned several individuals about poisoning his dog, according to the HPD.
