Hazen Centennial may cost $212,000
Celebrating a century of Hazen could cost more than $212,000, but the bill is modest compared to a previous celebration, the Centennial Fundraiser Committee chairman said Monday.
“I did some checking, and the dollars in 1988 were approximately half of what they are now,” Steve Huber said. “I looked up a 1988 Chevrolet extended-cab pickup. It was $19,000 and today they are $38,000.”
