Hazen Chamber lands new director

The Hazen Chamber of Commerce stayed home in the search for a new executive director when 10-year resident Terri Philion got the nod for the top spot in the Chamber.
Philion, 37, is a native of Alexandria, La., and is married to Hazen High football coach Rick Philion. The couple have five children: Alex, 26; Robbie, 18; Kaden, 8; Amy, 5; and Brielle, 3.
“I am very excited to be on board,” Terri said. “I feel I’ve been in Hazen enough years now that I can be helpful to the community because now, I have better ties to the community. We are raising our children here and decided we’d like to grow roots here and make this our home.
