Hazen grad plays in U Mary outdoor concert
When college freshmen in their school’s band imagine their first concert, the image isn’t likely to be of a spread-out ensemble on a grassy lea with gusting winds.
And the performers playing instruments while wearing face masks? Definitely not part of the mental picture.
For Rachelle Klein and other freshmen musicians with the University of Mary’s Concert Band, however, that’s exactly what the first college performance Friday looked like.
