Hazen growth plan taking final form

If the future of Hazen matters to you, mark your calendar.

An open house regarding the future of development in Hazen will be held from 5:30-7 p.m. MDT Monday, Oct. 25 at Hazen City Hall. The event will include a free meal of homemade soup and bread.

The purpose of the open house will be to discuss a comprehensive city plan being prepared by a steering committee made up of 15 area residents and Ulteig Engineering, Fargo. Hazen residents, business representatives and other organizations are invited to provide input on maps displaying future Hazen growth options, hear a formal presentation at 6 p.m. and participate in a question-and-answer session. It will be the community’s last chance to give input on the draft plan before the adoption process, according to Ulteig Senior Planner Joel Quanbeck.
