Hazen Meats, Inc., welcomes new owners

Over the last 16 years, Randy and Pam Meissner have been providing a wide assortment of meat products to Hazen residents. Now the business is switching hands, but the new owners are focused on ensuring that quality meats will continue to be provided to people throughout the area.
Justin and Jessica Hill are the new owners of Hazen Meats, Inc. They have been working alongside the Meissners for the last couple weeks to get the gist of how the meat company works.
“When I was working in the oil fields, I talked to one of the workers out there,” Justin Hill said. The two discussed the challenge of finding meat locally, and the other worker mentioned he had heard about Hazen Meats being for sale. Curious, Justin looked into the business and things fell in place from there.
“It’s something we were really interested in learning,” Justin went on. He and Jessica first met with the Meissners in January of this year, and have been working on-and-off until July 15, when the Hills officially took ownership of the business.
