Hazen native provides insight into herbicides

Originally from Hazen, one man has had a career that spanned the nation and indeed the world, giving him a wealth of knowledge on his subject.
That subject? Herbicides and weed control.
Brett Miller, son of Robert and Pam Miller, is a research scientist with Syngenta, an international company in agrochemical production. He was one of several speakers during a Mercer County Crop Improvement meeting hosted at the Beulah Civic Center by the NDSU Extension Service.
Miller discussed some of the projects the company is currently working with, as well as the challenges facing the agrochemical world at large, and producers in North Dakota and Mercer County specifically.
