Hazen residents to vote on natural gas
In a special election Tuesday, Hazen residents will vote whether or not to bring natural gas services into Hazen. Specifically, voters will determine if the city of Hazen shall "form a municipal utility for the purpose of owning or leasing a natural gas pipeline distribution system within the city of Hazen." The polls will be open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday at Hazen City Hall, and held in conjunction with the Hazen School Board election, though with separate registration.
