Hazen sees Miss North Dakota off

Delanie Wiedrich has left North Dakota to begin the process of events, training, preliminaries, and competitions that are leading down to the Miss America pageant itself. The community of Hazen had the opportunity to send her off with a huge celebration on August 27.
The send-off, which was heavily attended, began with a “sneak peak” of Wiedrich in her competition dresses and some of the events that are included in the Miss America competition. They could also greet her personally at a social event held afterwards
“Thank you for your enduring support,” Wiedrich said to the community members who came to the send-off, adding, “I could not be more honored, grateful, or humbled.”
