Hazen student performs duet with Air Force musician

One Hazen band member seized a chance to show her musical talents, even with her regular band ensembles put on hold.
It’s not easy being passionate about music in your high school career, and then facing a situation like the current pandemic, where group gatherings for band music can only be done through complex virtual arrangements, if even then. But there are opportunities for our talented local performers to shine.
Alyson Bosch, a junior and clarinet player in the Hazen High School Band, jumped at an opportunity that Band Director Chris Harvey informed her of. The United States Air Force Band reached out to elementary and high school students across the nation, offering a chance for the kids to perform a duet with an Air Force Band member.
