Hazen’s café returns

Shortly after the initial closure of one of Hazen’s primary eateries, a local resident decided the situation provided a niche he could fill.
Next week, a new restaurant will open its doors to residents from Hazen and the surrounding area. Stepping into the space that formerly held Sue’s Café, Bee’s Café will blend the old and the new.
“I mean, I worked at food in Fargo for many years,” Chris Sailer, Bee’s Café owner, said. “So it’s been an option, and something I thought I could do.”
Sailer’s official purchase of the Main Street facility took effect Jan. 17. He is now working on training his staff in, getting them ready for an opening day of Monday, Jan. 28.
