Heeding a call to the north

If you have the desire to see the majestic mountains and valleys of Alaska while also serving as part of a greater cause, there’s a prime opportunity for you.
Recently, five local residents, supported by Peace Lutheran Church in Hazen, traveled to Camp Bingle near Fairbanks to participate in a youth Bible camp put on by Alaska Mission for Christ (AMC).
Curt Melland, one of the those who went, has had a long history of involvement and experiences with ministry in Alaska. Now, he is reaching out to others in the area to join him in a return trip late September to work on improvements for the camp.
