Radio stations begin playing Christmas music the day after Thanksgiving. Stores begin displaying Christmas merchandise even before Thanksgiving. The early bird isn’t always the only one that gets the worm, as shoppers can get their day-after-Thanksgiving shopping fix on Black Friday right here in Hazen – after sleeping in – during the Late Risers Sale. While a few businesses will dare the 6 a.m. opening, most will be opening at 8 a.m. on that day. Stores will feature specials all day long that will help you quickly check items off your shopping list while supporting your local businesses.
