(Home-)School year begins
Students in Mercer County will once again be breaking out the pencils and hitting the books Thursday for the start of the 2011-2012 school year. When bad weather inevitably hits this winter, however, not all students will be getting a storm day.
There are around 20 home-schooled students in the New Horizons Home-school Group who will be working on their schoolwork under the supervision of their parents at home in Hazen, Beulah and the surrounding area.
