Interim administrator sets goals for the future

Interim administrator sets goals for the future

Knife River Care Center (KRCC) in Beulah is in a state of transition, but the current administrator is determined to build upon successes while tackling the challenges that the care facility is facing.
Rosanne Schmidt, a Bismarck native, worked for 40 years with CHI-St. Alexius, including 25 years as an administrator of transitional care, before retiring. However, at the request of KRCC Board President Darrold Bertsch, Schmidt agreed to return to the administrative role temporarily to help the Beulah nursing home in its period of change.
Bertsch approached Schmidt, having worked closely with her in the health care field in the past. He saw her administrative skills as something KRCC could benefit from in the current transition.
